Black and White Photos

No response, Apr 28, 2010

My black and white photos from my photography class. Expensive class but I think it was worth the money and time, I really enjoyed it. These photos were developed and printed then scanned on the computer so the colors may be a little off.

Photograms: shaped by objects that represent me.

Famous photographer assignment – John Baldessari: We had to pick a photographer and imitate the way they shoot and develop their prints. The colors are painted on there with acrylic paint.

Self portrait: Four pictures I took of myself eating because I love food and I think it represents me well, and I have been told I eat like a man. Instead of showing myself in pretty self portrait, I decided to show the unattractiveness and more realistic me.

Lazy Picture Post! October and November

1 response, Nov 26, 2009

October and November events that I took pictures of and too lazy to blog when it happened. So much for trying to be a more active blogger!

October 14, 2009. Muse and U2 concert. I wanted longer Muse time but no, we only got roughly 40 minutes, it sucked nuts but it rocked so much. When Muse came on stage, I too, came.

October 17, 2009. Dynamos vs LA Galaxy. I have to be honest, I went to this game for the sole purpose of seeing Beckham, lul. But I supported our Houston Dynamos none the last because we are awesome! :) I’m sure you can see my bias in the number of photos I had taken of Beckham.

October 30 – November 1. Oni-Con! Oni-con was… special. I saw some really great cosplays but there were more bad cosplay than the good ones. I’ve never seen so many unattractive-big-furryloving-bondage-girls and guys. It was not a pretty sight, horrific actually. I’m not being mean, well I am, but if you do not have the goods, don’t show it, that is all.

College Station: Military Vehicle Preservation Association

No response, Mar 22, 2009

On Saturday morning, I rode on a Vietnam War jeep to College Station for the military vehicle preservation association meet with Gabby and her dad who owns the jeep. Travel time was roughly 2 hours since the maximum speed is 55 mph for the jeep. It was a fun ride, cold but very worth the experience. I was wearing a leather jacket with poncho on top and a ski mask complete with large sunglasses, I looked like a proper terrorist or a special unit, whichever. We got there and looked around while we wait until 2PM for the WWII reenactment. The US soldiers were carrying m1 garand and thompson m1a1, oh, they were so beautiful. The Germans carried the k98 and mp40. It was a huge Day of Defeat: Source moment for me, there was even a p38 pistol! I was a happy camper.

The jeep to the right with the guy standing, that’s supposed to be General Patton.

The hot ride. Rode this bad boy for 4 hours, everytime I almost fell asleep I’d get scared awaked because I was afraid I’d fall off of it.

The guy to the right is wearing an Union uniform from the Civil War, it was pretty amazing.

Before the reenactment.

Vehicles all lining up.

Tanks! These tanks were louddddd. See video below.

Infantry unit.

THOMPSONNNNNN. I want one, it’s so pretty.

and lulz, Gabby bought a helmet, should’ve taken a picture.

Senior Legacy: May 2008

Long over due scrapbook images. I only selected a couple more epic ones, the rest are pretty lame, then again, all of these are pretty lame. This scrapbook was made for senior year English class, it’s suppose to be about- well, me and my time in high school.

Click on image to enlarge in order to see the details. I scanned these in, I had to scan half of a page and put it together, therefore you can see the scan line. -_- I blur out all the paragraphs with my writings on ’cause they are dumb and personal. I also blur out some images I don’t like, I put it on the scrapbook since they are part of my “memories.” Memories are selective, you remember the good things, things you want to remember; however, the unpleasant ones always haunted me.

Scrap Book
The scrapbook itself.

Title
Title, hello good-bye~ since high school is over. Brilliant title and amazing song.

Collage
Collage that is suppose to be about everything about me: what I like, what I am, who I am, etc. etc.

Childhood Memories
Childhood stuff and pics. I am fricking adorable as a baby, whatever happened. People kept calling me a boy when I was a baby ’cause I don’t have any hair. :(

Episode III
oh lawl, so we’re suppose to summarize our years in high school with metaphors and stuff and being the geek I am, I picked Star Wars: Episode III, IV, V, and VI. Lameeeee, I know. I included a bunch of Star Wars related pictures. ROTC, good times, good times. Only liked freshman year anyway.

Episode VI
Lame.

Episode V
Lamer.

Episode VI
Lamest.
