So Cliff and Bernice are in Taiwan now, and they came to stay with us for 3 days so we can take them around our part of town.

We went to a nice garden farmy place on Wednesday and try the famous Hakka tea and mochi, which we had to hand grind, and smash/make ourselves. The work was tiring, but I guess the result is… delicious?

uly 4th was the first day there was direct flights to get to China from Taiwan, not exactly direct since we still have to fly over Hong Kong to get to anywhere but it saves the wait time in between flights.

I Went Glamour Shots

2 responses, Jul 02, 2008

Woke up early today to take some pretty pictures.

My styling lady put a crapload of make up on me and even two layers of fake eyelashes. I like my styling lady, she made me look amazingly stunning. LOL. But of course, everyone looks good after crapload of makeup. >.> But she made my hair really cute hair too, it was after the whole shoot I found out she’s the most experienced lady there.

The whole shoot took from 8AM till 3PM in the afternoon, with maybe 30 minutes for lunch break. The make up and hair took up most of the time, the photoshoot itself for each set doesn’t take more than 30 minutes.  I wore 4 dresses, 1 kimono, and my own clothes.  The dresses that I picked out from last time, after today, I realized how fat they made me look.  I know, I know, you guys hate it when I say that but like, it just looks chubbier. *sadface* And the kimono is hideous, only my own clothes is quite adorable.  I bought it yesterday, went shopping and bought 5 shirts, 2 trousers, and a swimsuit.

WEIRD LOOKING. They said when the pictures come out, the make up won’t look as hrm, heavy?

Another dress and style. Taken with mum’s friend.

That’s all of my dresses pic ’cause I don’t like the other 3 dresses pics that my mum took. She’s terrible with the camera.

ASIAN POSE. Everytime Taiwanese take pictures they make their hand like that, I have no idea why.  My own set of clothessss, nananana, I LOVE THIS OUTFIT. I R ADORABLE. <3  I took some shots with a HUGE inflatable football (soccerball) in this outfit, and I think the pictures will turn out cute, I cannot wait. :D

Then we went to eat dinner, at a Japanese steakhouse ish restaurant.

FOOD PLEASE. AND LOOK. I GOT A HALO ON ME HEAD. *angels*

Toothpick on top of my lashes. lulz.

Seafood fruit salad. Yumz.

Foooooooood.

FOOD IS HEREEE. *HALOS*

I CAN’T WAIT TILL THE FINISHED PICTURES. <3

//edit: the pictures are now here

Pics: Visiting Gramps. D:

Went to visit dad’s side’s parents, who moved to Taiwan to teach in a university. We went to get sushi for lunch, which I do not know why because I worked at guardian’s sushi place for the longest time and frankly, I’m sick of it. But however, this sushi place is funner because there’s like a little moving rail of sushis.

Each plate worths 30 NTD and at the end, they’ll count the amount of plates you ate to charge you. The sushi quality is poor. :/

Gramp eating salmon sushi and using chopsticks. A whitey! :O

Bahhhhh.  I love my white grandpa. Teehee. They’re coming back to the states this year and they got the same flight date as we do (August 2). :O  They’re moving back to San Antonio and junkie, I might visit them sometime, I dislike my grandma’s nagging though.
